PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD

Know what to beat in your next workout

Progressive overload means gradually increasing the challenge of your training as you get stronger; LIFT helps you plan that using your recorded workout history.

How LIFT's workout progression works

1. Log your baseline

Record your working sets, repetitions, and weight for an exercise to give LIFT a starting point.

2. Review your last performance

When you train that exercise again, compare it with what you did previously.

3. Attempt your next target

LIFT suggests a performance target, so you have a specific goal rather than guessing.

4. Track the trend

See personal records and changes in performance across training sessions.

Do you need a personal record every session?

No; strength varies with fatigue, recovery, and other factors, so a suggested target is something to attempt, not a guarantee that performance will improve every workout.
